OJSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) is a subsidiary bank of OJSC VTB Bank.

Official opening of the VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) took place on November 23, 2009. Banking License No. 162 was issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan on March 11, 2009.

The share capital of OJSC VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) is divided between the Russian holder, OJSC VTB Bank (51% of shares) and the Azerbaijani holder – OJSC “AtaHolding” (48.99%) and an individual (0.01%).


VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) intends to develop as a universal commercial bank providing clients with all the necessary services. The list of services of the bank will also include personal banking for VIP clients and non-bank, but financial services - trust and investment, leasing, other services that will be provided through the corresponding affiliate companies, members of the VTB Group.


In 2010, VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) is mainly going to work with corporate clients, that is, large-scale, medium and small businesses. The bank is also ready to take part in the financing of large-scale projects with the help of the parent bank. Resources of the VTB Group can be given for the projects, and today there are various options to finance and support them. Thus, the main activities of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) will be in the field of small and medium business and financing of large-scale projects.

At present, products of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) include credits (business credits, auto credits), deposits, urgent transfers (Western Union, Migom), settlement and cash services, and documentary operations.

Current authorized capital stock is 23.815 mln. AZN (29.639 mln. USD). Moreover, the head office allocated 3.414 mln. manats (4.249 mln. USD) subordinate credit for the Bank VTB (Azerbaijan).


Assets of VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) as of March 15, 2010 amount to 31.022 mln. AZN (38.777 mln. USD).
